Being organised as a social enterprise, the focus of Yanggai’s business and services is to increase local social and environmental capital by reinvesting all of its profits back into community-based activities run through the Cardinia Environment Coalition.
The CEC are DSE appointed Public Land Managers for the Beaconsfield Nature Conservation Reserve (BNCR), and engages the services of YES to assist in the management of key aspects of this reserve, and 4 other parcels of Public Land.

Yanggai Ecological Services is managed on a day to day basis by highly qualified business and NRM managers. The corporate management and direction is undertaken by three volunteer directors, on behalf of the CEC Committee.
