Yanggai Ecological Services can provide a complete service from the preparation of environmental and land management plans to collecting, storing and propagating indigenous seed stock to weed control, revegetation and natural landscape maintenance services. These services are provided to the community, government agencies and private corporations.

Our LogoYanggai in the Kulin Nation language means Black Cockatoo and has been used by Yanggai Ecological Services P/L with the consent of Kulin Nation representatives. The Yellow-Tailed Black Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus funereus) is a species found across the Cardinia catchment area. It is regarded as the harbinger of good news – that a change is coming to bring rain. Yanggai Ecological Services regards its work as contributing to the restoration of our natural environment and that the results of this work will represent good news for the environment and the communities that call it home.

Yanggai Ecological Services Pty Ltd (YES) is a social enterprise fully owned and operated by the Cardinia Environment Coalition Inc (CEC) – a community based network working to protect and enhance our local environment. All profits from Yanggai Ecological Services are returned to the CEC to further its work. Yanggai Ecological Services offer a broad range of environmental and natural resource management services to individuals, local government and private enterprise.
